If you are keen on golfing, this week-end is made for you! 6 miles from the sea, and near the historical center of Montpellier, you will be welcomed in the beautiful Fontcaude golf. You will discover different facilities adapted to the level of everybody, beginners or experimented. After enjoying the course, you will relax at the swimming pool or fitness centre. The Golf of Fontcaude:
Created by Chris Pittman, the golf is located on a ground where ground accidents, shrubs and big trees intervene to complicate the game. The players will find there an intelligent, funny and varied course.
The Golf of Fontcaude is composed of:
An international course 18 holes, par 72, of 20 505 feet, wooded and a bit undulating.
A 9 holes course “executive”, par 29, of 4 232 feet, snaked around the hill, allowing the beginners to learn and to the more experienced to perfect their iron game.
A training center to improve knocks of the golf: practice on carpet, approach, putting-green, green bunkers, bunkers of course, slopping ball.
Hotel: The Montpellier Resort:
The three stars Montpellier Resort hotel is located in the heart of a beautiful golf course. Swimming-pool, fitness center, everything is made to relax here. The hotel has its own restaurant “la Garrigue” where you will taste classical and local cooking of quality and enjoy the wonderful view of the golf course.
