Make cocktails with the best bartender in the world at the Ritz Paris

Welcome at the heart of the legendary bar, the Hemingway Bar at the Ritz Paris, to discover the art and methodology of successfully creating cocktails. The Hemingway bar has always been famous for its cocktails, and has been home to some of the best bartenders such as Franck Meier and Bertin who created the Bloody Mary. Nowdays, Colin Field, the best bartender in the world, is behind the counter, and will give you his secrets during a saturday class.

Course of the experience: you will be greeted on saturday afternoon at the Hemingway Bar. With Colin, you will learn about the history of cocktail making, the selection of cocktails, and then you will create your cocktails with the supervision of the best bartender in the world. He will guide you as well as give you tips about presentation and garnishes. You will learn to choose et mix alcohols and liquors as well as fragrances and fruits, sodas and coulis…

These courses are done in small groups and can be given in French as well as in English. Courses are dispensed every saturday from 3pm to 4.30pm and cost about 100 euros.

Enjoy ice driving in the French Alps

Learn the techniques of driving on the most extreme surface: the ice. This one day course will teach you how to anticipate and control your car on ice. Techniques that you can use on any other slippery surface. On the circuit of Flaine, in the French Alps, learn to control skids, under steer, and spinning. This one day course is ideal for any driver who wants to improve their driving techniques and to be better on the road.   Course of the experience: Arrival on the circuit at 8H00

  • Briefing on the course of the day, the driving techniques, the cars and the circuit
  • All day: Practice the following main points of focus: education on the behaviour within the car and how to look at the road and anticipate, control under steer, control skidding, emergency breaking, etc.
  • You will also learn various driving techniques, such as sport, aggressive or relaxed.
  • The training lasts 6 hours and is cut by a lunch break. 
  • The vehicles: Renault Clio, Renault Megane, Renault Scenic. Circuit: the ice track of Flaine, at an altitude of 1600 metres, with a length of 1km, is ideal to learn the ropes of ice driving. A circuit of reference, Flaine also benefits from a low sun exposure, making its surface almost perfect. The course is also available in 2 days (added cost of 180 euros) and 3 days (added cost of 350 euros). 

Participants and guests : This experience is usually done in small groups of 12.
